Currently Bright Eyes is only in-network with VSP and Eyemed vision plans. Vision plans generally cover a well-visit eye exam every 1-2 years with a copay. Some plans will cover eyeglasses or contact lenses every 1-2 years with copay.

Medical Insurance Plans
Currently Bright Eyes is only in network with Standard Medicare (not Advantage or Supplemental plans).
Bright Eyes is considered out-of-network for all other medical insurance plans. Most medical insurance will not pay for elective services at our office. We can provide itemized receipts that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement, if your insurance allows.
Medical Visits/Urgent Care
Most vision plans do not cover emergency eye care, such as pink eye, eye infections, corneal scratches, etc. Our doctors are expertly trained to treat these kinds of eye emergencies, and our medical visit fees are similar to an out-of-network medical co-pay ($75-200). We can usually treat you the same day, and we are happy to help.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA)/ Flex Spending Accounts (FSA)
Bright Eyes accepts HSA and FSA cards as payment for services, glasses and contacts. We can provide itemized receipts to submit for authorization if needed.
Extended Payment Options: CareCredit and PayPal
To make payments more accessible, Bright Eyes offers CareCredit and PayPal Pay Later options for services. Please contact our office for details.
No Insurance – No Problem
If we cannot bill your vision plan or insurance for services or eyeglasses, don’t worry. We offer a 10% time of service discount for eye exams, eyeglass frames and eyeglass lenses for non-insurance patients. We offer 10% off annual supplies of contact lenses. We also offer pay-in-full discounts of 10% for our vision therapy and myopia management programs.
We cannot bill insurance or vision plans as out-of-network providers, but we can help with extended payment options and itemized receipts.
